“To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven.” — Ecclesiastes 3:1

You keep asking, “Why now? Why this?” But every season I allow carries purpose, even the quiet and hidden ones.

When the tree is bare in winter, it is not dead. It is conserving strength for the growth ahead. So it is with you. Just because you don’t see outward signs doesn’t mean nothing is happening. I do My deepest work in unseen places.

Stop comparing your season to someone else’s harvest. Trust that what I’m growing in you will bloom right on time.

Reflection Questions

  • What “winter” seasons in your life have felt meaningless but may have held hidden growth?

  • How can you trust God’s purpose in this current season?

Prayer

Father, help me rest in the truth that my season has purpose, even when I can’t see it yet. Amen.
